Patriots McCourty could start

ESPNBoston is reporting that the New England Patriots first round selection Devin McCourty will compete for a starting position at left cornerback.
CB’s Darius Butler and Shawn Springs rotated at that position last year and both were underachievers. McCourty is 5’11″ 193 pounds out of Rutgers and ran a 4.48 40 at the NFL Combine.
